Cassidy Tomei has done what everyone else said would be impossible. She’s broken away from the maximum security prison, Pelhoi and fled planet Nyx in search of a promise land for her and her brothers to live in peace.

After getting news that her mother—who she thought was dead—may still be alive and lost somewhere on the wasteland planet Earth, she’s got no other choice, but to swoop in for a quick rescue and reunite her family once and for all.

But getting back to Earth won’t be easy especially since she’s officially an intergalactic fugitive with every bounty hunter in the universe looking to capture and kill her for a major cash reward.

Her only hopes lies with Alyen, the half-human/half-alien soldier who’d risk everything to protect and love her through it all. They’d fought tooth and nail to be together before and just might have to do it again since she can’t seem to get her brothers and Alyen to get along long enough to accomplish anything.

With battle lines drawn and tensions flaring from all sides, Cassidy just might be forced yet again to decide what’s more important to her. Her love for Alyen or her desperation to protect her family? When you can decide who lives or dies, who would you choose to sacrifice?
